Gift Cards are a standard marketing technique used by many companies today, as it enables consumers to try a product with little risk.  Pre-Paid cards work the same as any other payment in the MarketPowerPro system.  The shopping cart is enabled to accept the pre-paid code during the checkout process, giving certain users the ability to pay with a code, just as they would a gift card.
